    Project description

    Work stages:

    Basic and detailed design.  June 2010 – February 2011

    The design scope included the following levels:

    • I&C sensors and actuators

    • Various startup devices of process equipment motors (direct start devices, smooth start devices, variable frequency drives). 

    • PLC, RIO,HMI 

    Equipment assembly and supply to customer.  December 2010 - April 2011

    We assembled and supplied the following:

    • Gas analysis systems, weighing and weight calibration systems for weighing hoppers, systems of measuring coke moisture in weighing hoppers

    • 1340 I&C sensors

    • 2 transformers 10/0.95 kV 2800 kVA

    • 216 units of cabinet equipment

    • 148 local consoles

    • Software

    The delivery was performed in several stages. Goods were delivered to customer's warehouse

    Supervised installation.  August 2011- March 2012

    We performed supervision of installation and wiring of electric equipment in 18 electrical rooms and in the field. There were permanently about 10 people at the site.  Duration of supervised installation was defined by construction readiness and, as a result, by readiness of installation companies.

    Commissioning works March 2012 - May 2012

    Commissioning works were performed. There were about 12 people at the site. Blowing-in of blast furnace was performed on May 19, and the first cast iron was received on May 20.

    Maintenance  June 2012 - July 2012

    Initial maintenance of the system, personnel training. There were 4 people at the site.
