Facility: Nicol-Pack Factory Ltd. for Papcel a.s.
Notice: Due to reconstruction, quality was improved and output products range was expanded, production capacity of the factory was increased up to 120 thousand tons of final products per year.
In 2010-2011 a major reconstruction of paperboard and paper manufacturing at the factory was performed. The reconstruction process concerned all technological chain of paper and paperboard production: from row material storage to output products packing/marking workshop. The molded pulp plant was modernized, what permits to obtain high-purity repulped stock. A cellulose stream was mounted, providing for a possibility to use bleached pulp and thermo-mechanical pulp as work stock for PM. On PM permanent part equipment for preparation of bottom and coating layers is installed. PM frame part was reconstructed - a second wire frame is installed above lower frame. Each of the frames is equipped with a new closed pressure head box with automatic regulation of pressure inlet, permitting to obtain an uniform web profile. On the press part, instead of existing suction press a pickup press with three suction cameras is installed, as well as second jumbo press. A gluing press was mounted on the line, before which a new measuring frame with a scanner was additionally built-in. A new automatic steam condensate system and a new drying section casing are installed on the machine.
Drive speed of paper machine (PM) was increased from 160 to 550 m\min. A lot of attention was paid to high automation in order to minimize human factor influence on the line operation.
Due to reconstruction, quality was improved and output products range was expanded, production capacity of the factory was increased up to 120 thousand tons of final products per year.
