    ASODU of "Mir" minery of Mirny Mining & Processing Division of AK Alrosa

    Project description

    On August 21, 2009, an automated system for operational dispatch management (ASODU) was put into operation at "Mir" minery of Mirny Mining & Processing Division.

    The overall structure of the project implementation was divided into three main areas:

     

    Central Dispatch Service

    System (CDS);

    Automatic fire suppression

    system (FSS);

    Emergency alert and miners and underground transport monitoring

    system.

    System description

    Central Dispatch Service System provides current data on the process parameters of the following main mine subsystems:

    Main ventilation unit,

    Air heating units,

    Skip shaft hoisters,

    Cage shaft hoisters,

    Production and household water supply pump,

    Production and fire water supply pump,

    Mine heat supply station,

    110 kV substation,

    Administrative-household complex ventilation.

    In addition, the ASODU provides

    - Information on the status and modes of the equipment to the operational staff,

    - Emergency alarm,

    - Operational dispatch control of the equipment,

    -Display of current, archival and calculated data.
